The online conference will be conducted in the Melbourne, Australia time zone. Melbourne is on daylight savings time in February (AEDT or UTC+11:00). Please ensure that you check the time difference for your location (see https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html).
AMOS 2021 will be run on the EventsAIR OnAIR Portal. As an attendee you do not need to download anything to view and interact with the event, all that is required is access to a device which has a stable internet connection and an internet browser. We would highly recommend you use Google Chrome as your preferred browser to access the portal. Please check your email for your personalised link. If you cannot locate your email, please contact amos2021@amos.org.au.
After logging-in, there will be a microphone and camera testing prompt. Importantly, please also complete / confirm the details on your profile page and set your profile permissions. The virtual conference platform has a live support desk that you can contact if you face any technical issues or have questions about navigating the website features. You will see a red icon at the top right corner of the website to access live support.
Please note the portal uses an external platform called 'Twilio', to make the most out of the virtual conference please ensure your computer is not being blocked from connecting to the platform. To test Twilio's network connectivity, please access the below link and ensure you have pass all the connection test.

Some company’s firewall protection levels can restrict or block the platform. If you are getting a message that states ’No playable sources found’, your firewall is blocking the live stream feed. In your browser settings/preferences, please make sure you ‘Allow All Cookies’, disconnect from your company VPN, or try using an incognito window to access the portal. Alternatively, use a personal device if this is available to you.
Please login 30 mins prior to the start of your session.
Things you need when presenting/chairing:
If you haven't done training, please take a moment to watch the tutorial video on how to use the virtual platform and how to log in to access your slot.

STEPS:
1. Log in to OnAIR using Google Chrome using the login details provided
2. Event Checkin: Update any details, then scroll to the bottom and click Update and Close
3. Find your session and Click Preview/Join
4. Click on Join as Panelist to launch the Zoom meeting
5. The Event Manager will be able to see you and speak to you at this point and will run you through your session.
If you have a student/students presenting in your session (see full list of students and sessions here), they are eligible for the AMOS 2021 Best Student Presentation Award. As part of the award process please ensure at least two people from your session (without a conflict of interest) provide feedback on the student presentation(s). Please note that we aim to record all sessions. Recordings will be available via the portal for 3 months after the close of conference.
All attendees must agree to adhere to the AMOS 2021 Code of Conduct during ALL activities relating to AMOS Annual Conference 2021. All attendees must also agree to adhere to the AMOS Code of Conduct.
All best endeavours will be made to present the program as detailed on this website. The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. AMOS and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, AMOS and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance and to extend their policy to cover any travel and personal possessions. AMOS does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings.
Presenters'/Delegates' names, organisation, position, email address, biography, photo and abstract details as entered during abstract submission and registration process may be published on AMOS 2021 conference app, website program, conference contact list, abstract book or included in conference proceedings. Please ensure that you have not provided any personal email addresses.
